This 6 week program provides a comprehensive and flexible learning experience that prepares students for a rewarding career as Nurses’ Aides. The online segment of the training program enables students to undertake their training conveniently from their own homes and is aimed at equipping aspiring healthcare professionals with the essential knowledge and skills required to provide care to individuals in their homes. This program encompasses a wide range of topics, from fundamental caregiving techniques to specialized care for clients with unique needs, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for a rewarding career in the healthcare field.

Nurse Assistant Certificate

The Nursing Assistant Program is a comprehensive and hands-on training initiative designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge required to provide quality care to patients in various healthcare settings and prepare for the Massachusetts state board examination to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). Through a combination of classroom instruction, simulations, and supervised clinical experience, participants learn fundamental nursing techniques, including vital signs monitoring, personal care assistance, and infection control measures. 

Home Health Aide

This program provides comprehensive instruction on essential caregiving tasks, including assisting with daily activities, medication management, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, ensuring students are well-prepared to meet the unique challenges of home-based care.

CPR Training

CPR training class that equips you with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in critical situations. Our certified instructors will guide you through the latest techniques in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants. You'll learn how to recognize emergencies, administer CPR, and operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with precision. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on practice, you'll gain the skills needed to make a life-saving difference.

Prerequisites

  • At least 16 years of age within 3 weeks of the clinical start date.

*Must have parent/guardian's signed permission if under the age of 18

  • Applicants are required to demonstrate 8th-grade reading, writing, and speaking levels.

Clinical Requirements 

  • CORI Acknowledgment Form

  • COVID-19 - primary vaccine series

  • Tuberculosis Screening

  3. Pass the English Language Comprehension Exam with a minimum of 80%
